Mom's Chicken Ala Kingchicken 1 cup butter 1 cup flour 1 qt. milk 1 1/4 cup chicken stock 2 stewing chickens,cooked 2 small jars pimento 2 eggs 1 salt to taste 1 paprika 1 cup light cream Melt butter. Add flour and milk to make creamy broth. Thin down with chicken stock until like a thick cream. Add pimento to cream gravy; stir in chicken lightly. Beat eggs thoroughly; stir into mixture. Just before serving, add 1 cup light cream. Serve in Pepperidge Farm patty shells or noodle nests or Holland rusks or English muffins. |
