Savory Traditional Bread Stuffing
poultry
1/4 lb butter
4 tablespoon finely chopped onion
4 tablespoon finely chopped celery
4 cup dry bread crumbs
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1 salt to taste
Melt the butter in a skillet and stir in the onion and celery. Cook over low heat until the onion is soft. Add this mixture to the crumbs and toss lightly with poultry seasoning and plenty of pepper and salt. Stuff a 12-15 pound turkey.
