Turkey Shortcakes

1/2 lb process cheese
2 tablespoon chicken broth or milk
2 cup cubed cooked turkey *or*
15 oz canned boned turkey (opt.)
1 1/2 teaspoon minced onion, instant
1 salt
1 pepper
Place cheese and broth in double broiler. Cook over boiling water until cheese is melted, stirring occasionally to blend. Add remaining ingredients, seasoning to taste.
Serve over hot toast, hot biscuits or corn bread.
